Matt's snow memory:

Watching my black lab puppy seeing snow for the first time during the storm where we got 30 inches of it. He would put a foot onto the snow and as soon as his paw broke the surface tension of it, he sunk down all the way to his face. It was adorable.

Wayne's snow memory:

During the cross-country trip I took with Rob last year, we left Seattle, where it was in the mid-70s, on May 20. When we got the Yellowstone the next day, it was in the 20s and snowing like crazy. Neither of us had packed for winter weather, so we alternated freezing while looking at natural splendors with driving through the park giggling and saying, "It's May 21st...."

Erica's banned song:

Billy Idol's "Mony Mony." I hate it, so much... it-it- the f - it -flam - flames. Flames, on the side of my face... [Editor's note: She did not see my answer first. And I love the Clue reference.]

Stephen's banned song:

Macarena

Mike's banned song:

Without looking at anyone else's answers I am going to say
"Centerfold," "Piano Man," and "You Are My Sunshine"

Matt's banned song:

"Drops of Jupiter" by Train. One single song contained not only a painfully annoying chorus, but also references to soy latte, tae bo and rhymes "finger-licking" with "best friends always sticking up for you." Horrible.

Ross's banned song:

It's a tie between "Single Ladies" and "Let It Rock," both horrible songs that are all over the radio.

Allison's banned song:

I would say "Busted" by Isley Brothers, but then it is just too funny.

Rob McK's banned song:

"In Your Eyes." We know who to thank.

Tim's banned song:

"Single Ladies" by Beyonce. Hasn't that song been played enough times already? And of course we're doomed to hear it for years.

Henry's banned song:

"SOS," Rihanna. HOW COULD THEY JUST SING OVER TAINTED LOVE AND PLAY IT?!?

and

Anything with T-PAIN, HE SOUNDS LIKE HE'S A LARYNGEAL CANCER PATIENT POST-OP.

Rick's banned song:

"Raspberry Beret"

Amy's banned song:

Chingy's "Right Thurr" makes me want to turr out my hurr.

Dusty's banned song:

"Happy Birthday to You" if "played" includes "sung."

Else: "Who Let the Dogs Out" by the Baha Men.

Tom K's banned song:

No contest for me: "American Pie" -- hate that frickin' song.

Wheels' banned song:

"Come On Eileen"

Wayne's banned song:

"Mony Mony." I might hate other songs more (maybe), but this gets played at so many weddings that I feel like banishing it would increase my quality of life.

Patrick's destination:

Brian's destination:

While there are many places I’d love to see, I have to go with New Zealand (if only because my wife has been there without me, but that’s another story).

Nancy's destination:

Africa -- probably West Africa first, Mali, Senegal

Wheels' destination:

Iceland

Erica's destination:

Antarctica

Christina's destination:

I'm making my second attempt to see Italy this summer, but I'd really like to go to Canada too. They share the top spot.

Tim's destination:

Iceland with New Zealand as a close second.

Tom K's destination:

China. Beijing / Shanghai, then a small town in Sichuan for a week or so.

Rick's destination:

Antarctica

Cordelia's destination:

Norway, western and northern. Backpacking, kayaking fjords and swimming with whales will be the highlights.

Matt's destination:

Antarctica. You’d be the only guy on the block with a photo album of his vacation in Antarctica. Although Bora Bora is probably nice this time of year also.

Jamie's destination:

Olive groves on the French Riveria...just before harvest.

Stephen's destination:

Tibet

Henry's destination:

Ile aux Cerfs Beach, Mauritius

Matt's destination:

Italy

Wayne's destination:

Tokyo. I'm intrigued by the combination of hyper-urbanism and Japanese culture.

Stacy's pain:

Definitely when I dislocated my shoulder. I knew immediately what had happened, but it was dislocated so badly that they thought my collarbone was broken, so they didn't/couldn't reset it immediately. They tied my arm to my chest, put my on a stretcher, ambulanced me to the nearest hospital over a series of amazingly bumpy roads. To make matters worse, my elbow cramped up from being locked in one contracted position for so long. When I got to the hospital they gave me morphine, then more morphine, then more morphine, and then I realized that my elbow was hurting more than my shoulder. Someone, I think it was Tim, untied and straightened my arm, and I passed out immediately.

Henry's pain:

I don't feel pain

Matt's pain:

Two bone marrow biopsies... I was actually sweating when he was finally done.

Rob McK's pain:

When I was battling Crohn's Disease and was hospitalized for it in high school and college. It was the most intense and excruciating abdominal pain imaginable. It would come in blasts and last for several minutes which felt like an eternity. All that could be done is to hold on and wait it out. This would occur several times a day for many weeks at a time.

Tim's pain:

Falling with all my weight on my right ankle playing soccer. The doctor thought I'd fractured my tibia. Instead I sprained my ankle in a really weird place.

Erica's pain:

dog + ice cube = puddle
puddle + bare feet = fall
ceramic tile floor + elbow = radial head fracture
radial head fracture = fetal position on floor + dogs trying to lick my head

Chelsea's pain:

I don't want to say it was this past week, because I'm afraid the worst isn't over yet.

Ross's pain:

Breaking my hand. 5th metacarpal was at about a 45 degree angle at the break. X-ray photos, if I could find them, are pretty fantastic.

Nancy's pain:

E. coli colon spasms

Rick's pain:

Way back in 1976, I slipped on sidewalk ice and fell forward and put my arms out to stop the fall. Unfortunately my left hand hit the ice and shot forward, dislocating my left shoulder. The worst pain was when I grabbed my arm and yanked it down to pop it back in. Almost passed out from the pain. I've only dislocated the shoulder four times since then. It gets easier to pop it back in.

Kareem's pain:

Broken arm. Actually, to be more specific, having a broken arm set by
the doctor.
